Yes, when you join a local chapter, you also become a member of the international organization.

ILEA Seattle is governed by a local Board of Directors that is nominated and elected by the chapter. At the international level, ILEA is run by a Board of Governors and a full-time management team. The chapter and international boards are volunteer positions

You can attend a chapter meeting as a non-member, at the non-member rate. We encourage you to try ILEA out. You will get the most out of ILEA if you join and become involved in the chapter.

The easiest and fastest way to join ILEA is online at www.ileahub.com. Your membership will be immediately activated and will be valid for 12 months.

Chapter meetings and events are held at a different location, on a different day and time every month - and we cover different topics and themes each time. This is so that you can have several opportunities to see a variety of the best event industry venues our city has to offer, while also discussing current topics, trends and more with fellow event industry vendors. Our chapter typically meets once a month.

Yes, the Certified Special Events Professional or CSEP designation. The CSEP designation is the hallmark of professional achievement in the special events industry. It is earned through education, performance, experience, and service to the industry, and reflects a commitment to professional conduct and ethics. For more information, click here.

If you are a new member or have never logged into the International Website, you will use the membership number listed on your ILEA ID, and your password is "welcome." However, once you change your password after your first log-in, you will need to retain it for your reference and future entry to the site. ILEA Seattle members receive access to discounted member pricing for chapter events. Members may also purchase tickets at the member rate for coworkers, business partners, associates, and others who work alongside them within the same organization, company, or business. The member rate does not extend to spouses, family members, friends, neighbors, or other event professionals or vendors simply because they have a personal or professional relationship with an ILEA member. Unless they work within the same organization, company, or business as the member, they should register using the Non-Member ticket rate. Ticket Types Member: For current ILEA members and eligible individuals who work within the same organization, company, or business as the member. The member has to be the one to purchase the ticket and register the attendee. Non-Member: For anyone who is not an ILEA member and does not work within the same organization, company, or business as a current member. Board Member / Event Sponsor: For the current ILEA Seattle Board members and representatives of organizations providing sponsorship, venue, products, or services for that specific event. For event sponsors, the number of tickets available at this rate is determined as part of the sponsorship agreement for that specific event. Each sponsor’s ticket allocation is based on the agreed-upon sponsorship package and is outlined in their agreement with ILEA Seattle. Once a sponsor has used their allotted tickets at the Event Sponsor Rate, any additional tickets should be purchased at the applicable Member or Non-Member Rate.
