ILEA Seattle is governed by a local Board of Directors that is nominated and elected by the chapter. At the international level, ILEA is run by a Board of Governors and a full-time management team. The chapter and international boards are volunteer positions

You can attend a chapter meeting as a non-member, at the non-member rate. We encourage you to try ILEA out. You will get the most out of ILEA if you join and become involved in the chapter.

Chapter meetings and events are held at a different location, on a different day and time every month - and we cover different topics and themes each time. This is so that you can have several opportunities to see a variety of the best event industry venues our city has to offer, while also discussing current topics, trends and more with fellow event industry vendors. Our chapter typically meets once a month.

Yes, the Certified Special Events Professional or CSEP designation. The CSEP designation is the hallmark of professional achievement in the special events industry.
