The "Show Me The Equity" workshop aims to create awareness and provide actionable insights to promote equity and inclusivity for event professionals and in the event planning process.
Learning Objectives:
• Gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in the events industry.
• Explore Best Practices for Creating Inclusive and Welcoming Event Environments.
• Learn strategies to ensure equity, accessibility and inclusivity throughout the event planning process.
Karen Foster is a vibrant Event Producer, Community Builder, DEIB Facilitator, & Founder of KF Curates, an equity centered Event Strategy, Execution, and Consulting Agency. She partners with businesses and organizations to produce diverse, inclusive, and equitable events to cultivate meaningful experiences that lead to transformational change.
Karen is a champion for equity and believes in creating spaces to inform, educate, and empower others to take bold action and create change within their communities and corporate spaces.
